Cold Steel War Hammer w/ Wooden Handle
Modeled after the original medieval close combat weapon, the war hammer. Resembling a traditional hammer, this bludgeoning tool adds a new dynamic to your arsenal of weaponry in the form of close range polearms. The spike, located on the opposite side of the hammerhead, makes this tool more versatile and capable of overcoming armor and other protective layers. Originally designed for knights and and Men-At-Arms, you'll never see a modern day war hammer like the Cold Steel version.

A maul is similar to a modern day sledgehammer, but with a slightly longer handle for further attack range. Other related hammers include the Horseman's pick, Bec de corbin, and Lucerne hammer.
What sets the Cold Steel War Hammer apart is the back spike that can rip through any armored metal and even the strongest layers of leather and bone. The handle design also allows tremendously powerful blows, ideal for beating, striking and bashing.
Stories about a weapon like this have been handed down from generations ago, traditionally a 'poor man's' weapon, we stuck with that mantra, keeping this pummeling battle bludgeon affordable to all who desire the power within.
