Requirements:
- All boats over 16' must carry a minimum of 3 approved signals.
- As flares expire, they must be replaced every 3 years.
Instructions for Loading and Launching:
- Fire only after sighting potential rescuers.
- Break launcher barrel open, insert ORION 12 gauge HP aerial flare and close launcher.
- Hold launcher above eye level, point straight up, and squeeze trigger.
- Repeat with 2nd signal, fire in tandem.
